My name is Greg Fallis. I’ve had what you might call a checkered career. I’ve been a medic in the military, a counselor in the Psychiatric/Security unit of a prison for women, and a private investigator specializing in criminal defense. I spent a few years writing storylines and quests for an online adventure game. I’ve picked up a few degrees and taught various courses in criminology and sociology at The American University in Washington, D.C. and at Fordham University in New York City. For a few years I also taught the Advanced Detective/Mystery Fiction workshop for the Gotham Writer’s Workshop.
On top of all that, I was the Managing Editor of an online photography community called Utata for about a decade. It was in that role that I decided I needed to educate myself about the long line of photographers who’ve had some role in shaping the craft and art of photography. The result was 172 Sunday Salon articles.
